thegreengage
A space where science meets the soul, and where learning feels like returning to something ancient within oneself.
About this website
Green Gage’s explores the invisible threads between nature, mind, and science — blending neuroscience, plant chemistry, history, and philosophy into a form of poetic education.
This is not a sales funnel.
This is not a marketing slogan.
This is not one algorithm speaking to another.
It is a living journal of consciousness —
a place where ideas unfold gently, with clarity and wonder.
Here, you’ll find portals for:
• Essays on consciousness, psychedelics, and the evolution of thought
• The full scripts of the 44-episode series
• Glossary entries that turn neurobiology into symbolic language
• Notes of Encouragement: small worlds of softness and reflection
• Commentary on surveillance, sovereignty, and digital life
• Behind-the-scenes work: research, syntheses, drafts, and fragments
Everything here is built around one simple principle:
knowledge must remain alive.
Why this project exists
Green Gage’s was born from a single question:
What if science could be taught with poetry?
What if metaphysics could take root in biology?
What if learning could soothe rather than overwhelm?
The project grew in Montréal cafés, in memories of Coventry, and in late-night notebooks; shaped by travel, disciplines, and a long-standing curiosity about what makes us conscious, connected, human.
This blog is where that journey becomes visible.
Not polished to perfection.
Not artificial.
Just true.
How to explore
Begin anywhere.
A glossary term.
An episode script.
A Note of Encouragement.
A long, wandering essay.
This isn’t a linear course — it’s an ecosystem.
Every page leads to another.
Every idea belongs to a wider constellation.
If something resonates, follow it.
If something unsettles you, take your time.
And if something moves you, share it — that’s how light travels.
To go further
If you’d like to step deeper into the workshop — into the research, the behind-the-scenes, the private conversations — you can join the Green Gage’s community on:
• Patreon for advanced scripts, polls, and bonus episodes
• Substack for essays and Notes of Encouragement
• Ko-fi for prints, downloads, and small gifts
• YouTube for the main series and the podcasts
But even if you stay here as a visitor — a wanderer passing through the orchard — you’re at home.
No pressure. No commitment.
Just a shared moment in the garden of ideas.
In Closing
If there is a thread running through all of this, it is simple:
We study consciousness not to escape the world, but to understand more deeply the place we hold within it.
Welcome to Green Gage’s.
Take your time.
